Bluemolly was officially launched recently with an event that witnessed the attendance of KL’s best, out to give support to this much talked about new makeup brand. Since its website went live last December, Bluemolly has picked up a steady following of discerning fans they lovingly refer to as Bluemollitas.
The boutique brand has introduced itself with 5 organic lip crayons. Ethical, sustainable and natural, the Bluemolly lip crayon aims to prove that an eco-friendly lipstick could be the most responsibly effective pick me up post-pandemic. Working with experienced designers, formulators and manufacturers in Malaysia, Germany and Italy, the payoff for the 2-year exploration of conscious development is a fully vegan, cruelty-free, biodegradable luxury brand from formulation to packaging with no compromise on the delivery of its rich pigments.
The 5 carefully curated lip crayons are designed to both line and fill one’s lips. The colours glide on easily and stay on. Nourishing and hydrating, Bluemolly is as gentle on your skin as it is to our Earth.
“Simply named Nude, Coral, Pink, Red and Mauve, our crayons may be purchased singly or in a slide box of the complete lip crayon set. There is a favoured colour for every occasion and encouragement to mix and layer the colours for a more individual look”, said Shireen Zainudin, who together with Yati Zainudin and Sherry Kamaruddin, founded the brand and have all worked tirelessly to develop the brand story of Bluemolly.
She further explains, “We look forward to introducing our lip glosses, eye shadow crayons, and even an exciting line of hair shadows, later this year. But for now we are thrilled to share our Bluemolly lip crayons with everyone regardless of age or gender. Beauty after all is for everyone.”
Bluemolly is also available at Bungalow 18, 18 Jln Damansara Permai, KL and soon at selected retail outlets around the country, and beyond.
